#68: Criag Ludwig
Craig Ludwig played eight seasons with the Montreal Canadiens, and while he wasn’t an offensive player, his leadership and defensive talent was a steady influence on the team for almost a decade.
Drafted by the Habs in 1980, Ludwig played his first game with the Canadiens in 1982. In his first season, he had zero goals and 25 assists in 80 games. The next year, he scored seven goals, which would be a career high.
It’s probably safe to say he remembers all of his playoff goals. In 177 playoff games, he scored only four goals. But he did win the Stanley Cup with the Candiens in 1986, and another one with the Dallas Stars in 1999.
