Top 100 Habs

So the Montreal Canadiens are celebrating their Centennial year this year.

And I will be celebrating along with them.

Starting in January, I will start a list of the top 100 Habs players of all time. I will feature one a day for 100 days. The number one pick will be announced on Wednesday, April 15, the first day of the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Here’s where I need your help. The top 10 is easy. Even the top 25 to 50. The tricky part will be the ones near the bottom of the list. Who should be number 100? Should Vincent Damphousse be on the list? Kirk Muller? Brian Bellows? Don Awrey? Mark Hunter? Buddy O’Connor?

Give me your feedback. Let me know who should be on the list some people might not think of.

  1. A Bit Of Everything Sports

Interesting exparament, that is a tough list and very subjective one to begin starting at 100. Are we talking just on ice or organizational. I would hope that coaches and GM are involved in some way on this list, it is all about family. Claude Mouton perhaps? Dick Irvin, Scottie Bowman, Sam Pollock, but i don’t want to see Mario Tremblay in a coaching capacity.
