Tiger Woods who?

There’s a 22-year-old golfer in Central Illinois named Curt Hocker.

Odds are you’ve never heard of him. But Hocker seems to have a way of defying the odds.

You’ve all heard of people who have played golf all their lives and never hit a hole in one. Well, Hocker has hit five in the past week. He hit two last Saturday.

They’ve been witnessed by 15 different people, buth e’s hit them all at the El Paso Golf Club.

The club comes with insurance. Every time a golfer gets a hole in one, the club buys every one a drink.

“I think the golf course is getting mad at me for all the drinks,” Hocker told the Associated Press.

According to ezine articles, figuring out the odds of hitting one hole in one is difficult. According to this article, some places say the odds for an amateur golfer is about 1 in 12,750 , while others say 1 in 33,000, or 1 in 45,000.

One thing is for sure, it’s an amazing feat.

Well you non believers, he did it again,my name is Paul Algar and I played with curt on Friday,he flew it in on #3,the 155 yard par 3,with a 9 iron at El paso, for his 6th hole in one in two weeks,I was there when he aced #1 the par four 278 yard hole. I know its not that long of a hole but you got OB right and trees left,When you hit the ball as long and straight as he does anything can happen, this is unreal, not to mention it is starting to get bloody expensive when you are playing against him. I am not going to put my reputation on the line for no one, but this man can play, this guy has over 27 different witnesses, you just gotta tip your hat.

    Paul
