No more breaks

I think it’s time for Prison Break to come to an end.

The show started off really strong. The first season was well done, but once they escaped, it was doomed. The second season was way too heavy with the plot of a conspiracy. Then, a few of them wound back in another prison, this time in Panama.

After a third season of trying to break out, they finally did, but a few stayed behind.

So what happened on last night’s epiosde? Those prisoners escaped, but it was only mentioned, never shown.

How can a show like Prison Break not show a prison break?!?

Anyways, a few of them got caught again, and are now working for the law, instead of against them.

The worse is they put things in there to keep people watching, and then reverse them (they killed off Sara Tancredi, twice now, and have brought her back).

And after last night’s epiosde, my wife said the show was become very 24-ish. Lots of technology and gadgets.

The characters used to be smart, creative and ready to kill each other at a moment’s notice (heck, Michael Scofield had his toe cut off in the first season as a way to get information from him). But now they all work together (for the umpteenth time), and it’s hard to believe that they could be as chummy as they are, or hate each other as much as they should. Why doesn’t someone just punch Bellick in the face already?

It’s the fourth season of the show, they’ve broken out of prison at least three times. I think it’s pretty much done. Time to move on.

    I would have to agree.

I think it would be interesting if they have a different cast & scenario every season…
