I hate to say I told you so, but….
Actually, I don’t hate it.
On June 23, I wrote that Michael Ryder should leave Montreal and sign with the Bruins (read my original post here).
Yesterday, it was announced Ryder has signed with Boston for three years and $12 million.
This was the best move for him. He’s reunited with his former coach, and he’ll have a chance to screw Montreal every time they play, which should give him more incentive. Plus, he’ll probably play on a line with Bergeron or Savard, so he has an opportunity to rack up quite a few goals.
