NHL draft

So it looks like I may not be able to get tickets to the NHL draft.

This year’s draft is being held here in Ottawa. Last month, Roy Mlakar, CEO of the Ottawa Senators, was on the Team 1200 radio station talking about the draft. The host asked how to get tickets. Mlakar said you just show up, you don’t need tickets, because the event is free. The host repeated the question, Mlakar repeated the answer.

Then a co-worker told me last week there were no more tickets left for the first round of the event (and the only one really worth watching). So I e-mailed the Sens, and waited for an answer, and they finally got back to me after 5 days, telling me that I was out of luck.

Of course, what else should I expect from this organization?
