Remember to always play nice kids.
If not, teachers could ruin your birthday.
At least, that’s what a school in Sweden tried to do.
See, there was this eight-year-old kid who wanted to throw a birthday party. He was going to invite everyone in his class except for two people: a bully who had been tormenting him for six months, and another kid who didn’t invite him to his birthday party.
So teachers at Munspelets primary school in Lund, Sweden, said all the invitations had to be returned. They said they have an unwritten policy that all the children must be invited to a party.
So the father filed a complaint, and the parliament ruled against the school.
The school tried to take the fun out of a birthday party, but they’re the ones that got taught a lesson.
