Free gun with car purchase

I wonder if there’s not enough drive-by shootings in Kansas City.

Why else would a car dealership give away a gun when you purchase a car. (see story here).

There is a choice of a $250 gas card or a $250 credit for a gun. The guy who owns Max Motors said of his first 30 customers, only two chose the gas. The rest chose a gun. Considering the price of gas, I’d be tempted to get any of it free, unless the owners of the new guns plan to steal it from someone.

The guy says it’s a statement to do with Barack Obama, but I can’t tell if he’s being sarcastic or not.

I think the guy’s comment in the story sums everything quite nicely: “We all go to church on Sunday and we all carry guns,” said Muller. “I’ve got a gun in my pocket right now. I have a rifle in my truck. We’ve got to shoot the coyotes out here, they’re attacking our cows, our chickens. We’re not clinging to nothing. We’re just damn glad to live in a free country where you can have a gun if you want. This is the way it ought to be.”
